Shashank is a Chartered Accountant and Cost Accountant with over 16 years of experience in the areas of business transformation, process improvements, re-engineering, governance and project management, both in India and abroad. At Axis, Shashank is responsible for business process improvement practice, project execution, building new solutions and supporting the development and execution of Axis's overall business strategy.

Prior to Axis, Shashank was the Regional Head of Re-engineering and Six Sigma Group function at a Fortune 50 financial services company. As part of this function, Shashank was responsible for setting up a Re-engineering program for the Company which helped the Company realize significant and sustainable cost savings. His Global Re-engineering / Six Sigma team helped the ~80,000 employee company create and institutionalize strategic and structural business controls, processes and systems across businesses and geographies.

Shashank also has had an entrepreneurial stint as Co-founder and Director of Catamorph Business Services Pvt. Ltd, a consulting firm which provided process design and re-engineering solutions to several customers in India.
