Delivery model
Our delivery model is completely flexible and scalable - we tailor our delivery model accordingly to your needs.We operate under 3 basic models, as depicted below. For most of our clients, we work on either Model B or C. However to help build confidence in our work, we are happy to start new relationships with Model A (staff augmentation) but with the clear understanding that we would move towards models B & C wherein our professionals take responsibility for the quality of the work right through to report preparation, including closing meetings and interface with external auditors. In these models (B & C) we would support your leaders in reporting to senior management and / or audit committees.

Traditionally, internal audits were carried out by teams of auditors who would physically visit the audit site and carry out the work. However, with business operations of several global companies now spread throughout the world, this often proves to be very costly both from a time effort perspective as also from T&L costs.
Axis has been supporting several of its global clients through a delivery model wherein some portion of the work (we believe around 25-30 percent of the total hours) could be done on an off shore basis once we develop familiarity with the company, its business processes, people, processes and systems. Several activities involved during the audit planning, reporting and follow up activities (as depicted in the table below) lend themselves quite well to off-shoring.
We have also observed a trend wherein several global companies are consolidating their financial statement preparation activities to global shared service centre's. This has resulted in a majority of the Sox testing activities to be also performed out of these limited locations. Further, given the nature of Sox activities, they lend themselves greater to off-shorability. The table below depicts the off-shoreable potential in Sox activities.
We believe that this is a very workable delivery solution permitting our customers to better manage their costs as also bring in greater efficiencies in managing their governance and compliance agenda’s.
