With more than 15 years of experience, Burzin is responsible for our clients within the Telecom, Technology, Media and Hospitality sectors, and is involved in managing Process Improvement, Internal Audit, Sox advisory, Enterprise Risk Management and Fraud Assessment & Investigation projects.

Burzin is also responsible for our Financial Due Diligence practice and has led several due diligences for both strategic and financial advisors in sectors including Cement, Manufacturing, Technology, Construction and Hospitality.

Prior to joining Axis, Burzin was with the Assurance practice of Ernst & Young India for three years where he specialized in handling the US GAAP audits of several large Indian and US based companies. Burzin was also part of the E&Y India core team that assisted US based clients with their efforts in complying with the requirements of the Sarbanes Oxley Act.

Burzin began his career with the Assurance & Business Advisory practice of Arthur Andersen in India, where he worked for nine years. While in Andersen, Burzin worked on financial audits, M&A transaction support and internal audits across a wide range of clients within the Agribusiness, Technology, Telecom, Retail, Construction & FMCG industries.

Burzin is an associate member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and a Certified Fraud Examiner.
